Kurds are freeing people from Daesh.
They take over villages one by one.
If you are only interested in Kurdish case, you know they are headind to Mosul, the most important Daesh’s “station”.
We also have to remember to appreciate the huge help of Iraqi troops who are heading Mosul from the South while Kurds surrounded it from the North.
Daesh (Kurds don’t like if you call them ISIS because for the Kurds they have nothing to do with Islam) is loosing more and more lands.
It seems like someone, some time ago, has left a mess on the world’s map.
It seems like, in 20’s, someone forgot about the Kurds.
It seems like someone was drunk drawing Middle East borders.
It seems like someone wanted to gain something but actually left 40 million people without a homeland.
How is it possible that Kurdistan’s establishment was officially confirmed in 1920 but a few years later all has been cancelled?

“Today we can’t say that We did not know … “
My heart crashed into million pieces.
There is not enough tears in the whole world to cry for.
But finally the whole world can see it and we cannot say “We did not know …”.
Feeling that you are useless, can’t do a thing – that is the worst.
And watching kids that get used to that, to blood, to bodies, bombs, exploding buildings ….
Their faces …
Empty eyes …
Scared …
I know what you are about to say. Same topic – different day.
I know.
But if there were not a person that reminds about it – there would not be a chance in the world that someone might care.
Do you remember 2nd World War ?
I am Polish so for me this is very important part of history.
Same as Kurds have been displaced from their homeland and mixed with other nations – Polish people have been displaced also . And they have been saved by many countries that let them come and live as refugees.
Every time, when I say “give back Kurdish people their own land”, most of my friends are like “oh come on, move forward, you want some Ancient history to come back, Jesus – it is like wanting Mezopotamia to be back today … .”
What can I answer to that ?
It just shows how little people actually know about Kurdish history.
Kurdistan is not an Ancient country.
You need to remember that the Republic of Ararat existed till 26.03.1946.
Still we hear “why should they get back their country, move forward, it is a history”.
Well, to give you some perfect example, Poland existed till, we can say, 01.09.1939 – much shorter then Kurdistan, and still we got back our country, but unfortunately it took us almost 50 years – till 1989.

The period of time, that I was always amazed, how my friends go through it. Especially in Sweden or Norway.
As Kurdistan has around 4500 Mosques, Ramadan started also there for the Muslim population.
Unfortunately, political parties like to use this time, claiming they are spreading spiritual slogans, when actually they sell their politics.
Your neighbors in Kurdistan, before the sun is up, run around knocking doors exchanging plates of food or small bowls of soup.
Children brings plates full of food and there must always someone who takes care about opening the doors 🙂
In this time you can try this very special best food of the Kurdish mother.
I have a great story for you Turkey and Mr Erdogan. Well, Ottoman Empire once was stopped. And as long as Polish people live, there will be nothing like that again, because we fought a lot to stop that tyranny.
It seems like Mr Erdogan has some kind of paranoia.
He would like to go back to the times of the Ottoman Empire, which is totally impossible.
He turns his country into a dictatorship. His propaganda is so strong that normal people believe in it with their all hearts ! And this is totally fucked up.
